Food & Drink

Can I eat what I like in the restaurants?

Yes. You are entitled to one 3-course meal - i.e. starter, main course and dessert, in the evening, but you have the whole menu to choose from so if you fancy a sirloin steak then go for it.

Can I drink as much as I like in the bars/nightclubs?

In theory, yes. You can have as many drinks as you like but this privilege relies completely on appropriate behavior and can be withdrawn by the Jamboree agent at their own discretion at any time. It should be noted that we only order wine or spirits by the bottle and that there is a cut-off time of 3am.

Needless to say, participants must meet the minimum age for alcoholic consumption in the destination country.

Can I go to another bar which isn't on my itinerary?

Yes. Of course you can but there is no guarantee of admittance, seats or Jamboree-paid drinks. We suggest that you stick to the itinerary as much as possible but, if you really want to change bars, speak to the Jamboree agent and they’ll try to sort it out.

Can a non-participant join me for dinner?

Yes. If you make a friend and you want them to join you for a scheduled meal then it's no problem. Just make sure to inform your Jamboree agent as early as possible and, assuming it is possible to do so, they will change the booking.

However, it goes without saying that the cost of this meal wouldn't be covered by Jamboree.
